What this site is
BathRemodelNear publishes general information about bathroom remodeling jobs, city conditions, and permits. It connects callers with independent local providers for bathroom work, including full remodels, tub to shower conversions, and walk in showers. We do not do bathroom work ourselves. We do not hire crews, set prices, choose materials for a job, file permits, or inspect finished work.
General information, not professional advice
Information on this site is general only. It is not legal advice, building code advice, or professional advice for your home. Permit rules, building rules, and job scope depend on your address, your building, and your exact plan. Use the local permit office named on the city page as the source for a ruling on your address. Ask the provider about scope, permits, and licensing for your job.
Work is agreed directly with the provider
Any work, visit, scope, schedule, or price is agreed directly between you and the independent provider. You sign papers with the provider, not with us. We do not promise a provider, a price, a date, or an outcome. Only the provider who assesses the room can quote the job. You may compare providers, ask for a written scope, and say no.
Our responsibility, stated plainly
We are not responsible for a provider's work, pricing, or licensing. We do not inspect finished work and we do not settle job disputes. If work goes wrong, contact the provider first, using the papers from your job. Keep the written scope, the payment record, and any permit papers. If the issue involves a permit or a code question, contact the local permit office for guidance on next steps.
We also do not claim a license, a crew, a shop, or a job history. We do not publish reviews, ratings, or job photos that we cannot verify. If a page on this site ever reads as if we did the work, that is an error. Tell us through the contact page, and we will fix the wording.
Privacy
For how this site handles information, read the privacy page at /privacy/. Details you share with a provider are handled under that provider's own practices. Ask the provider how it stores job papers and who can see them before you share more than the job needs.
How to reach us
Reach us through the contact page. Use it for site questions and for corrections to site wording. For job questions about scope, price, schedule, or work quality, contact the provider. For permit questions about your address, contact the local permit office.
Common questions
Is BathRemodelNear a contractor?
No. BathRemodelNear is a free referral service. We are not a contractor. We connect callers with independent local providers. The provider does the work and sets the price.
Who is responsible for the work and the price?
The independent local provider is responsible for its own work, pricing, and licensing. Any agreement for work is between you and the provider, not with BathRemodelNear. Get the scope and price in writing before work starts.
